The Farm

Cattows Farm is the best Pumpkin Farm in Nottingham. Yes, Pumpkin season is technically pretty much over *wipes tear* but November is still an Autumn month and Pumpkin Season will come around again quicker than you think!

Cattows Farm is a very cute farm which had been decorated for the Halloween season. Plenty to do for kids and adults. Decorations, a little farm, animals, pumpkin field, a farm shop, a cafe and a play area are all available on this farm. I wanted to pick pumpkins this year and this was the farm which caught my attention on Instagram for their wide range of pumpkins. Different colours, sizes and shapes.

The atmosphere at the farm was lovely. So many children, teens and adults having fun. I do highly recommenced bringing young children there as it is so much fun. The farm shop was full of unique fruit and veg, biscuits and cakes, drinks and more.

The outfit

Let’s get started on the outfit. This day was one of those “fashion over comfort” days, I was pretty cold, but I knew this before I went. I wanted to look good for the pictures. As Tyra Banks would say

hoe cold, but then make it fashion”

Detail

There is something about detail recently that I have been loving. I feel like if you put more effort into the little details of your outfit then it will come together a lot better. It can be as simple or as complex as possible. Can you tell I like the colour baby pink? I matched my nails, top, coat and trainers and then matched my leopard print belt with my leopard print headband.

The Pinafore

It is about bloody time I got a pinafore. I have been wanting to wear one now for ages and I finally got the confidence to do so. I saw my friend Katie wearing one and on that very same day I got my own! As I am quite slim, the smallest size is slightly baggy on me and short for my long legs so I do wish the fit was better. I have a pet hate about blue denim and black tights, I just don’t think it goes. So I want to get another colour pinafore so I can wear it in this colder weather!

The trainers

I am a trainer kind of girl. It doesn’t matter if it is spring, summer, autum or winter, you will always catch me in a pair of trainers. My pink Nike Air Max 97s are my babies. I love them. They are so pretty. This picture was taken before my puppy chewed my laces!! I want to put a pair of trainers on my Christmas List, has anybody got any recommendations?

Baby Pink

The colour baby pink is SO ME. I don’t know why I love it so much. I think it compliments my skin tone very well, I want to own a lot more baby pink clothes so watch this space. As you can see from this outfit, it is very baby pink, but also very summery and not so much autumn. I want to incorporate this colour into my outfits but make them a lot more suited to the cold weather!

Thanks so much for reading, I have had a very hard week and I have fallen SO behind with blogging. All love and support would be really appreciated.

Did you go to a Pumpkin Farm? What did you think? What do you love wearing at the moment?

I love your photos! It looks like such a cute, fun day. I really like your outfit here and pink isn’t usually a colour I go for. Totally agree with what you said about detail, sometimes the smallest things make the biggest difference x

I like to think that pumpkin season is full on until December, as long as you don’t hear Christmas songs yet you’re in the clear hahaha WOW NOW THAT IS A SELECTION OF PUMPKINS, there’s lil cute ones and wow the green ones are those pumpkins or a vegetable that I’m not recognizing hahaha!

WHAT A LOOK YES GIRL! Love that you matched your headband and belt to have leopard prints – leopard prints are everywhere, it came into fashion and it’s living its best life in the fashion world.

I went to a Pumpkin Farm a little before Halloween and it was so much fun, lugging my lil cart with heavy pumpkins to go to the top of a hill for get some tasty grapes was not so fun though haha! Girl don’t even worry about taking time off blogging because of a hectic week, we’re all here waiting when you’re ready to write another amazing post 🙂

I love the idea of a pumpkin farm, they always seem like such fun during the autumn months, but I have none near me 😭 your outfit is lovely! The pink does really suit you and I love that you added a belt to add a little extra something to your outfit.
