I love black dresses, I just love them.
Even though black is supposed to make you look slimmer (I want to look bigger) and even though black is supposed to wash you out (I want to look browner), I just love a good Little Black Dress. See my first “Little Black Dress OOTD” post here and I hope you like the second addition to this series!
Ermmm, okay so not the best selfie. If you have read my previous post linked above then you will notice that my makeup looks extremely similar. I am not a massive make-up artist, I can’t do cut creases and contour and all of that (somebody teach me) I just stick with what I know. Yet again, not going to go into my make-up because this is a fashion post but let me know if you want to know what I have used! Surprisingly I was happy with the way my curls looked. Worth mentioning that this OOTD was in May (I know I know I am terrible) and I have currently had my hair chopped.
BLACK FRILL CUT OUT TEA DRESS- PRETTY LITTLE THING
This dress caught my attention because of the cut out design at the front as it is unique. I also love the frills. This dress shows under boob, not really on me though because I have small boobs. If you are comfortable with a bit of boob showing then this dress would look amazing. I have also got this dress in a bright red which I am going to take on holiday. A very summer feel, light cotton material and you can style in many different ways, with heels or with trainers. So, this dress is from Pretty Little Thing and was £18.00 which I think is a decent price. Just be careful when buying from PLT, I ordered this dress and the stitching was wrong, sent it back, ordered another and the stitching was fine. I love this dress because it is just so cute.
MONTREAL SOCK FIT ANKLE BOOTS IN BLACK FAUX SUEDE- PUBLIC DESIRE
If you read my first Little Black Dress OOTD Post then you will know how much I didn’t get on with my heels from Public Desire, did I get on with these boots? Yes and no. These sock boots are sooooo gorgeous, 4 inch jet black suede ankle boots and they fit me so well I was so surprised at how nice they fit my ankles. But, they were extremely painful, not as painful as the heels but still pretty bad. Do comfortable heels actually exist? I would wear these again however, just because I love them so much, to go out for food or drinks not for going in a club and dancing again…ouch!!!!
Thanks for reading girls and guys and I am sure I will be back with another Little Black Dress OOTD soon! (I’m so generic).
Let me know what you think of the “under-boob” and “Sock Boot” trend below in the comments and I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine!! xx
